To lead on digital media plan selection, quality of execution and operational excellence. To ensure world-class client service and account management, working alongside direct reports.Main Tasks:A) Knowledge:

• A good grasp of communications planning and acting in a consultant capacity to the client.
• Be able to develop a good rapport with media owners and colleagues within Starcom and the creative agencies.
• Develop an understanding of the client?s business, their products, services, customer profile, marketing and business objectives, competitors, and sales.
• Understand the strengths and weaknesses of the major media (press, TV, radio, cinema, outdoor, digital), the fundamentals of how they are traded and approximate costs and audience delivery.
• Develop a comprehension of what is or isn?t on strategy and be able to develop communication strategy with the assistance of the Associate Director/Media Director.
• Sound knowledge of the media market place and opportunities available.
• Expertise in all research data, including client research such as: Sales Data, Awareness tracking, Competitive Data etc..
• Understand how research is conducted for all the major media e.g. expertise in all relevant industry software and systems: Statex, ZPlan, TGI, TNS Tracker (if applicable).
• Sound knowledge of IMS (Integrated Marketing Solutions) and acts as an industry expert on the client and media landscape.
• Understand clients overall business and marketing objectives displaying a sound knowledge of all media, including TV, print, radio, Outdoor and Online.

• To build a relationship with client and agency counterparts.
• Be numerate, literate, and accurate in all aspects of your work.
• Possess good communication and selling skills.

• To help the team as required, e.g. perform competitive analyses, answering direct information requests, evaluation of media options.
• To work with Buying Team to: provide them with an investment brief, collaborate in the development of implementation plan and liaise with them regarding any issues on on-going plans.
• To undertake additional projects beyond client responsibilities as requested, e.g. help on new business, analysis for overseas offices.

• To grow the strategic thinking capabilities of the team
• To ensure that the team has a motivated work environment.
• To Oversees and beresponsible for the smooth running of all client / supplier and interdepartmental relationships.

• To create and develop a strategic framework that delivers on the clients objectives: Formulation of a media strategy, Consumer Insights Analysis, Identification of business challenges facing the client, Competitive Landscape Analysis, Media selection, Maximizing cost-efficiency, Timing and laydown, Strike weights andBudget levels by market.
• Develop the team through performance management and giving consistent feedback. Help the team to achieve their own professional goals.
• Work to promote additionalservices/relevant products in collaboration with the different practices.
• Introduceinitiatives (eg. Newsletters, workshops/training, new learnings
