Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lawyer with a specialization in mergers and acquisitions to join our legal team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing the below responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence and risk assessment for potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships
  • Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and laws
  • Provide legal support and counsel to various departments within the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks
  • Assist the group head of legal, of the company and its affiliates in all the countries where it operates, with the collaboration of the legal team in developing and implementing internal policies, compliance programs, procedures, and best practices
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including commercial agreements, merger and acquisition, and confidentiality agreements
  • Stay updated on laws, regulations, and industry trends related to mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting, and pharmaceuticals
  • High level reporting and working in association with divisional/ functional/ business heads on all matters relating to the businesses of the Company, and full advice and support to all relevant executives to achieve business objectives in compliance with the relevant legal requirements of the countries in which they operate
  • Attending Committee meetings Board of Directors meetings and General Assembly, acting as secretary and advising on legal issues as and when required.
  • Conducting legal workshops and training sessions to improve the legal awareness of each of business department in the context of their businesses.
