1.????Monitor and analyze market data within the industry in terms of market trends, new projects / new technologies, competitive activities and new entrants in order to provide valuable input for the business development strategy.2.????Identify potential business opportunity, analyze the relevant requirements, coordinate with the concerned parties to evaluate its profitability as well as the technical readiness and the willingness of the company to take the opportunity.3.????Liaise with the clients, discuss their strategy, understand their needs, and explain how the company can add value through its new techniques, practices, products/services as well as its well experienced resources in order to develop or maintain long-term customer relationships.4.????Liaise with current/potential partners, secure proper communication channels and develop mutually beneficial relationships for the long run.5.????Supervise the bidding process, get support from concerned parties within the company, and decide on the pricing in order to secure a proposal.6.????Conduct a post- tendering analysis - weather the bid has been awarded or not - collect the necessary data and present recommendations to business development manager for improvement purposes.7.????Review and analyze information about the competitors, follow-up on their activities, practices and strategies to be proactive in taking decision relevant to business development.8.????Assist in producing or produce business plans for new services development or new market expansion activities.9.????Participate to trade shows, business conferences and business related events ? whenever deemed necessary ? to enlarge business connection channels.10.?Plan effectively marketing travels and activities in a cost effective manner.11.?Coach business developers at lower level in order to integrate them in the work and train them to ensure their continuous skill level improvement.
