Job Description

The Senior Auditor will be responsible for conducting financial and operational audits, analyzing financial statements, and providing recommendations to improve internal controls and financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities:

  1. Perform financial and operational audits of company processes and procedures
  2. Analyze financial statements and identify areas for improvement
  3. Evaluate internal controls and identify weaknesses or gaps
  4. Develop and implement audit plans and strategies
  5. Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
  6. Recommend process improvements and assist in implementing changes
  7. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing regulations
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
  9. Provide guidance and training to junior auditors
  10. Assist in special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in audit firm.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  9. Experience with auditing software and data analysis tools is a plus
