Overlooking the Mediterranean, the Phoenicia InterContinental hotel with 446 rooms and suites and 33 apartments, along with 4 F&B outlets, and one of the largest banquet facilities in Lebanon, will reopen its doors after two years to embrace the community where it operates with the outstanding luxury it represents.As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for: ? Assisting in all functions and meetings? Supervising, coordinating, directing and administering all of the phases leading to a smooth and successful operation in accordance with the specifications of each client? Consulting with guests and setting up functions to their satisfaction, in a manner that will maximize the profitability of the department? Working closely with all food & beverage and catering staff involved in the banquet process, including housemen, bartenders and chefs? Focusing on the development of strategies to generate revenue from new business? Monitoring competitors activities and assisting in marketing intelligence? Growing existing business and establishing and pursuing leads which will develop business? Assisting with the preparation of new products and services? Planning and conducting familiarization tours and site inspectionsIdeally, youll have some or all of the following competencies and experience were looking for: ? Bachelor?s degree in Hospitality Management or related fields? 4 to 6 years? experience in a five-star hotel Sales function, 2 of which in a leadership role? Strong ability to formulate Sales & Marketing strategies to generate new business? Excellent verbal and written English communication skills? Customer service oriented character? Luxury experience is an advantage
