Toters is an on-demand e-commerce and delivery platform and operates a service that enables customers to get anything in their city at the highest level of convenience.Toters is one of the very few companies that has a CI/CD pipeline that deploys live code into production several times a day. This is in large part due to the heroic efforts of our QA team that works very closely with the product managers and engineers to ensure that we ship quality code fast. At Toters QA staff are involved with product development starting with ideation all the way to its deployment, in fact it is our QAs that deploy our code to production and communicate each deployment to the entire company and to the feature stakeholders. At Toters the closely integrated collaboration between the QA Team and the engineering and DevOps teams is very unique and rare in the industry, yet it?s very necessary to achieve and maintain our rapid pace of product delivery.You?ll be joining a QA team that is already mature but we look on to you to mature it even further. We have already started building the automation team and have started integration test automation into our flow for example, we would like you to see that journey to its completion. As the product teams grow, we would like you to play a learning role in the staffing and scaling of the QA team (in both its manual and automation capacities).RESPONSIBILITIES- Introduce, train and ensure compliance with QA processes and best practices in the team- Actively recruit and train QA staff. You will also have to design career paths for QA team members and help them reach their career goals- Scale the test automation team and help ensure that automation testing meets the overall objectives of the QA team- Closely work with the tech team leaders to maintain the tight integration between the QA team and the overall product team.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor in Computer Science or related field- 3+ years of experience in working in quality assurance- Deep understanding of QA processes and industry best practices. Is exposed to different QA methodologies- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team setting on large projects (including working with designers, backend engineers, front end engineers, product managers and business owners)- Experience in testing web, mobile and backend applications- Experience with QA tools such as postman, test trail etc.- Experience with Automation testing.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience leading a team of 3+ QA staff for 1+ years
