Project Engineer

Job Description

Propose and implement work processes, procedures and technical resources in accordance with corporate engineering policies, key principles, and the project management activities and practice.Plan, and monitor capital expenditure project works safely, on schedule and within the approved project including all project requirements (such as technical specification, drawings, scope of work, manpower and material requirements, time and cost estimations, capital expenditure requests, contract conditions, warranty and all other requirements).Coordinate with and provide advice to personnel (e.g. affiliate project engineers, technicians, consultants, contractors, etc?) to ensure projects objectives are satisfied.Propose and control the cost of the project in accordance to the guidelines of Capital Investment.Propose and control the project in accordance with the key performance indicators ( budget, completionÿ time, and quality)Demonstrate and promote the companys valuesEnsure that one exhibits and attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations and never implement any change, whether directly instructed, or under your own initiative, without questioning the impact in relation to product safety/quality, people safety and the environment. No compromises will be tolerated.Ensure that the highest principles of ethical conduct on behalf of the community, consumer, company, and engineering profession are adhered to and that all dealings are maintained within a competitive and fair environment and above reproach.Support and encourage clear and open communication between the team members and related stakeholders (e.g. QA and R&D, Operations, Marketing, Finance, contractors, consultants etc..)Ensure that the procedures for protecting GANDOUR technological and proprietary know how are in place and actively being implemented.Responsible to provide short term and long-term engineering designs to support process improvement, product development and product reconfigurationCreate, follow up on, and check drafting works ensuring all the dimensions and tolerances are complete and within the required precision.Ensure that the service level agreements are maintained at all times in accordance with the business needMonitor the status of project work in progress to avoid delays and extra cost or expenditure by coordinating and reviewing the schedule with other departments, if necessary.Report to the Corporate Project Manager in a timely and effective manner on all planned and actual capital expenditures to date.Develop and ensure that comprehensive checklists and periodic schedules for routine checks to inspect the condition of the factory, office buildings, and peripherals are implemented.Report to the Corporate Project Managerÿ in a timely and effective manner on incidental accidents; cyclical safety audits; cyclical fabrication; cyclical CAPEX; monthly project accident statistics report; project summaries; training Proposal Report; and any other reports as requested by the Corporate Project Manager .
