Position requires thorough knowledge of mechanical/piping drafting, engineering techniques and graphics skills using AutoCAD software. Responsible to plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, standards, procedures and criteria. Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare/modify drawings, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, projects specifications, accepted engineering practices and international standards.?? Prepares drawings and sketches using CAD (Computer Aided Design), working closely with other Designers, Drafters, and Engineers to ensure coordinated designs.???? Applies standard design principles and theories to complete assignments. Utilizes technical manuals to ensure compliance with all Company policies, projects specifications and applicable standards and codes such as ANSI, ISO, ASME, etc????? Assists in ensuring compliance with required design safety factors, tolerances, and specifications.???? Compiles data and computes quantities.???? Reads, prepare and modify 2D and 3D drawings and supplier/manufacturer drawings.???? Understands and performs changes, additions, and/or revisions as required by the immediate supervisor.
