Job Description

Someone to discuss development requirements with staff through performance management systems.Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodical training needs analysis in coordination with department heads
  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
  • Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. job-shadowing, online training)
  • Design, write and deliver workshops and trainings
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
  • Help managers develop their team members through career planning and succession
  • Discuss development requirements with staff through performance management systems
  • Lead or provide access to training programs to suit a range of developmental needs
  • Create and ensure access to training materials including electronic materials
  • Work within a set training budget
  • Support staff and management as required at times of operational change
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an L&D Trainer, or similar
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
  • BSc/BA in Business, Psychology or a related field
  • Train the Trainer certification is a plus
