Job Description

SummaryLead activities for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for the Gas Power HDGT NU, specifically for Commercial activities. Seasoned, individual requiring understanding of the Gas Power business and financial dynamics as well as general FP&A processes and practices. They should work cross-functionally across finance, commercial operations, product management and supply chain to ensure a standard framework is in place for driving commercial metrics management and accountability. This individual should possess problem solving methods to drive continued process improvement to support this effort.Roles and Responsibilities

  • Partner with the HDGT commercial and finance teams to evolve & lead operating rhythms around monthly, quarterly and annual planning and reporting for HDGT commercial metrics,
  • Partner with the HDGT commercial and finance teams to track, develop and monitor commercial metrics around cash, including down payments and cash curves. Drive a standard framework that enables continued focus on cash conversion and FCF performance improvement,
  • Lead the analytics around the profitability of our orders pipeline and drive a comprehensive framework to support the commercial finance team in underwriting new orders that are in line with the strategic objectives of HDGT and of Gas Power,
  • Partner with the product cost competitiveness team to ensure complete & accurate feedback loop of product cost changes to enable DOA updates and shorter deal cost modeling time,
  • Coordinate with the supply chain and HDGT finance (FP&A and OTR) teams to ensure a strong framework is in place between orders pipeline and supply chain/inventory activities (S&IOP),
  • Support the commercial finance leader in activities related to targets setting, measurement and calculations related to commercial teams incentives,
  • Ensure accuracy, efficiency & cross-functional collaboration. Process change & utilize lean principles & problem-solving methods to drive efficiency and automation across all the above-mentioned processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in Finance or Business Administration,
  • Strong proven experience in Finance,
  • Proven experience in change management initiatives.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills,
  • Fluent English knowledge,
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Proven horizontal leadership, demonstrated with the ability to work with peers across multiple functions,
  • Proven knowledge and application of contemporary analytics tools and methodologies,
  • Prior experience in FP&A roles.
