1. RoleA Junior accountant is responsible to assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements in order to report the company?s position while insuring proper recording of all accounting entries.2. Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccountant?s Duties & Responsibilities: The responsibilities of a Junior Accountant include the following:- Enter all journal entries into the accounting software;- Reconcile all accounts (suppliers, affiliated companies, petty cash) in order to make sure that all data entered is correct and take corrective actions when required;- Assist with journal entry examinations and coordinate to complete annual audits;- Assist with the preparation of financial statements;- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations;- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed;- Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings;- Assist with other accounting projects;- Keep data confidential?
