Overlooking the Mediterranean, the Phoenicia Intercontinental with 446 rooms and suites and 33 apartments, along with 5 F&B outlets, and one of the largest banquet facilities in Lebanon, will reopen its doors after two years to embrace the community where it operates with the glaring luxury it represents.As IT Specialist, you will be responsible for: Managing and monitoring all computer hardware and making sure systems are installed properly and working efficiently Maintaining uncompromising data and physical security standards Ensuring that all computer media saves, and back-ups are completed, documented and stored per specifications Administering all user IDs, passwords, and the most sensitive system utilities, secure all touchy resources and critical libraries under the supervision of the IT Manager/Leader Managing the configuration reports, program files and data files on the computer system(s) to ensure maximum operating efficiency Installing and testing corporate approved program changes to the hotel computer system(s), Providing recommendation and driving results to ensure the hotel has the appropriate technology roadmap to meet short-term and long-terms needs Keeping up to date with all approved systems and technology systemsIdeally, youll have some or all of the following competencies and experience were looking for: Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Computer Science or IT or related field 4 years related experience with computer set-up and troubleshooting Working knowledge of networks and operating systems and databases Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid communication skills A team player, proactive, responsible, hardworking and able to work under pressure
