A leading institution in Beirut is seeking to hire an internal auditorMain Duties:

Determines in coordination with the Management the audit scope and develop annual plans.
Reviews objectively the organizations business processes.
Engages to continuous development regarding regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
Performs the full audit cycle.
Evaluates the efficacy of risk management procedures that are currently in place.
Ensures that the organization is complying with relevant laws and statutes.
Makes recommendations on how to improve internal controls and governance processes.
Issues the reports including recommendations to be implemented and communicates them to management.
Follows- up on the progress of the audit results.
Conducts follow up audit missions to ensure proper implementation of recommendations.
Maintains a proper register for follow up on set deadlines.
Investigates possibilities of fraudulent practices to protect against fraud and theft of the organizations assets
