Job Description

  1. Developing and implement HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements
  2. Working closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures
  3. Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization liaising with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety
  4. Recruiting staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates
  5. Maintain the human resource information system and employee database
  6. Developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management
  7. Creating and revising job descriptions
  8. Conducting annual salary surveys
  9. Maintaining a company directory and other organizational charts
  10. Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures
  11. Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits
  12. Administering payroll and maintaining employee records
  13. Interpreting and advising on Lebanese employment law
  14. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions
  15. Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
  16. Planning and sometimes delivering training, including new staff inductions
  17. Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
