Job Summary:ÿThe Health Care Assistant plays an integral part in supporting health and social professionals in providing quality patients care and services in RHUH(Rafik Hariri University Hospital) - ICRC office. (S)he provides smooth communication and relevant explanation about ICRC services to general public as well as patients and their family members. He/she liaises with ICRC RHUH team members to refer or follow up on patients services and contributes to development of stakeholder network within catchment area population. He/she participates in data collection and reporting on daily and weekly basis. The qualified candidate should have a technical degree (B.T or T.S) in Nursing, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.Accountabilities and Responsibilities?Establishes a safe and conducive working environment in ICRC welcome office, focusing on non-violent communication.?Provides relevant details about ICRC services to public.?Liaises with ICRC RHUH health team members regarding patient assessments (social or health related) or referral.?Carries out assigned related office and administrative tasks.?Collects accurate data through the timely completion and filing of predefined patient/hospital-related documents and ensures proper management of information collected and appropriate, relevant reporting.?Participate to vulnerable population network development through calls, emails, documentation, and reporting.?Contribute to keeping premises and equipment clean and hygienic within his/her technical field as per ICRC guidelines?Contributes to any other activities, which may be considered necessary by line manager.Additional Duties:?Follows up on all work-related messages and correspondence with relevant contacts and departments?Is aware of the delegation?s objectives and has a good knowledge of the ICRC environment in Beirut?Collects and shares information to improve the ICRC?s understanding of the environment and humanitarian trends and responses?Takes responsibility for their own professional learning and development?Can be requested to contribute to any other project or priority request as per the needsGeneral Duties:?Understands and adheres to the seven Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement?Understands and adheres to the ICRC Code of Conduct?Understands the roles of the components of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement?Respects and observes staff regulations and security rules at all times?Represents the ICRC in a professional manner at all times?Develops and maintains a pleasant and conducive working environment with colleagues and line managers?Performs all duties with the highest level of confidentiality in the interest of the employees and the ICRC?May be asked to perform tasks not covered in this job description and to provide support to other departments when necessaryJob Details:Job Location: Rafik Hariri University Hospital - Beirut, LebanonWorking Schedule: Monday till Friday, from 8:00 Am till 4:30 PmContract Type: Determined Period, 1 year (renewable based on performance and need for the position).Salary Package: 1,213 - 1,698 USD (As per ICRC salary scale, salary setting processes will determine fair setting in coherence with the qualifications of the applicant and the requirements of the job).Opening Date:ÿ05.06.2023Closing Date:ÿ19.06.2023
