Overlooking the Mediterranean, the Phoenicia InterContinental hotel with 446 rooms and suites and 33 apartments, along with 4 F&B outlets, and one of the largest banquet facilities in Lebanon, will reopen its doors after two years to embrace the community where it operates with the outstanding luxury it represents.As Headwaiter, you will be responsible for: ??Assisting the Manager in supervising the day to day operation of the outlet??Assisting the Manager in analyzing on an ongoing basis the following: a) Quality level of products b) Guest satisfaction c) Merchandising d) Operating costs e) Sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene??Ensuring optimum performance in specific areas as assigned in above areas.??Assisting the manager in supervising, coordinating and directing the prompt, efficient and courteous service of functions to ensure that standards are met??Maintaining effective employee relations??Conducting under the guidance of the Manager such functions as employees orientation, on the job performance, appraisals, coaching, to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity??Conducting on the job training for the employees??Ensuring that the outlet setups are in accordance to required standards/requests??Demonstrating understanding and awareness of all company policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and fire life safety??Performing related duties and other projects as assignedIdeally, youll have some or all of the following competencies and experience were looking for: ? Bachelor?s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent mix of relevant work experience and education? 3 to 6 years of F&B experience? Strong Arabic and English communication skills? Ability to lead the development of staff members? Luxury experience is preferred
