Responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact. The role involves listening to marketing requirements and˙understanding their needs before making design decisions.˙Designers˙are required for a variety of products and activities, such as digital content, Keyline development, advertising collateral, newsletters, logos, displays, corporate communications and color proofing. The designer must operate within brand guidelines and insure a consistent quality across all mediums.Interpreting business needs and developing concepts to suit the purpose.Generating ideas that are technically feasible and provide creative solution. Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, engage and brainstorm with communication team to create creative and engaging digital content for Gandour & brands social media channels.Creating exciting and homogenous designs across multiple mediums for different marketing requirements adhering to brand guidelines, delivering quality designs in a timely manner.Insuring design ideas and concepts are workable on industrial scales.Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches.Working on layouts and art working ready for print.Executing all packaging designs with suppliers, making sure they are on brand and as per specs. This includes cromaline proof reading, attending first print for design and colors verification, approving final print.Creating short clips and still infographics.Creating a library for illustration to be used for infographics and short videos.Combining design and technical knowledge to create creative visuals and digital communication.Maintaining the quality and standards of the visual that are relative to the brand, quality and guidelines rules.Keeping up to date with emerging technologies in new media,˙particularly design programs˙such as InDesign,˙QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash.Performing other tasks & duties when required
