Overlooking the Mediterranean, the Phoenicia InterContinental Hotel, Beirut is situated along the famous boardwalk, Corniche a few minutes from the citys business and banking district, and the ever lively and entertaining city center. The Phoenicia Intercontinental with 446 rooms and suites and 33 apartments, along with 5 F&B outlets, and one of the largest banquet facilities in Lebanon.As a Front Desk Agent, You will responsible for: ? Registering guests to the hotel, ensuring all relevant details are obtained on the registration card while adhering to the hotel?s credit policy? Informing guests about the IHG Loyalty Program and making sure to enroll guests and reach the loyalty enrollment target? Understanding and applying the payments handling (checks, credit card and cash) policies and procedures? Using suggestive selling techniques, Presenting options and alternatives to guests to sell rooms and promote other services of the hotel? Performing cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, paid outs, currency exchange, bills, invoice settlement?? Reporting any unusual occurrences or requests to the duty managerIdeally, you will have some or all of the following competencies and experience we are looking for: ? Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management or related fields? Customer Service Orientation Adaptability/Flexibility? Solid written and spoken English communication skills
