The technician must be able to trouble shoot elevator controllers independently.
Must know how to read and interpret prints and wiring diagrams.
Must have the physical and mental ability to install elevator equipment using both hand and power tools.
Must be capable of identifying controller & diagnostic problem indicators, interpret problems and corrections through user manuals and technical support.
Identify safety problems and advise both the company and the building owner.
Must be self-motivated seeking continued professional growth.
Need to be able to communicate clearly with office staff and give a status of work performed, using phones, technology and written word.
