Job Description

About This Opportunity You will be responsible for Middle East and Africa?s content targeting external channels and will provide content strategy and guidance for all core external channels, including speeches, formal letters, social media posts and press material ensuring content is current and appropriately positioned for external audience.What You Will Do

  • Design external communication in support of business needs and strategy
  • Work with External Communications Team on a daily basis
  • Act as subject matter expert to support regional clusters with execution of activities in external communications
  • Draft content for different external channels including offline media and social media
  • Draft formal letters/invitations for key external events
  • Draft speeches for Ericsson executives for key external events
  • Provide proofreading and editorial support, ensuring adherence toEricsson?s tone of voice
  • Support in building a solid external communications content strategy for Ericsson Middle East and Africa
  • Deliver writing assistance as needed and perform all other related duties as per business needs and internal strategies
  • Closely overlook the quality of text outputs for different channels including print, digital and video formats, in addition to copy editing and final quality control reviews
  • Work closely with the external communications team to ensure strong external brand positioning
You Will Bring
  • Bachelors Degree within Marketing and Communications and or extensive experience in external communications or similar areas including journalism
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar area; ICT background is a plus
  • Ability to work cross functionally with other teams and drive direction
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical or sensitive subjects in a clear, concise, and creative manner
  • Excellent English writing and editing skills and a visible passion for communications, technology and creative media
  • Ability to initiate and manage projects
