A Reputable Company located in Beirut is seeking to recruit a Chief Accountant.Main Duties:

Ensure the compliance of accounting transactions and information with generally accepted accounting principles, IFRS, company policies and procedures, and local rules and regulations.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
Analyze transactional processes and identify additional opportunities to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain a system of accounts and keep record of all company transactions and assets.
Monitor the preparation of financial documents for the Ministry of Finance.
Supervise periodic VAT and NSSF declarations and all taxes obligations.
Analyze and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions and information.
Supervise the preparation of bank and suppliers? reconciliations.
Prepare quarterly financial statements.
Monitor the closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts every month.
Control monthly payroll to guarantee accuracy and relevance of payroll transactions.
Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports.
Oversee the execution of payments to local and foreign suppliers.
