ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive):Within the assigned unit and delegated authority, the Communications Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:ÿ?ÿSupport content creation by pitching posts for WFP Lebanon social media platforms and networks, ensuring consistent coverage and support for activities, in accordance with WFP messaging and standards;?Support with editorial tasks including drafting and editing of human interest stories, and inputs for WFP reports;?Maintain a comprehensive database, including both audio-visual and written content to ensure the systematic organization and easy accessibility of communication resources for WFP Lebanon staff;?Facilitate coordination, administrative assistance, and specialized services to contribute to the development, preparation, and execution of WFP Lebanon communication campaigns and field visits;?Monitor traditional and social media channels to extract relevant information for timely updates to the WFP Lebanon staff;?Implement improvements to communications methods and practices, to contribute to a better flow of information about WFP?s work to the media and stakeholders;?Respond to specialized queries and requests for support, using initiative and following standard processes, to ensure timely and accurate resolution of all enquiries;?Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.
