Phoenicia InterContinental Hotel in Beirut is looking to hire a Banquet Operations Manager. Overlooking the Mediterranean, the Phoenicia InterContinental hotel with 446 rooms and suites and 33 apartments, along with 4 F&B outlets, and one of the largest banquet facilities in Lebanon, will reopen its doors after two years to embrace the community where it operates with the outstanding luxury it represents.As Banquet Operation Manager, you will be responsible for participating in the preparation of the annual outlet operating budget and financial plans, monitoring budget and controlling expenses with a focus on food, beverage, and labor costs, partnering with the Culinary Department for the purpose of identifying additional sales opportunities to enhance revenue, driving promotions that deliver great dining experiences for guests at a good value, supervising the construction, design, and setting up phases of events center and provide input on service areas. You will also be responsible for assisting the Director of F&B with procurement regarding the available required resources ensuring that the facilities are well set up, logistics are available and the right quality of human resources are recruited, trained, and made enthusiastically ready for the opening.Ideally, youll have some or all of the following competencies and experience were looking for: ? Degree in Hospitality Management or related qualifications? 2-3 years? experience in a 5-star hotel with similar position or a related field with a proven record of accomplishment or success? Detailed knowledge of food and beverage, as well as a proven track record in launching new concepts and promotions, training, and developing staff? Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
