Job Description

The Associate is a problem-solving, inquisitive, passionate, and agile individual, who deeply cares about addressing complex challenges with feasible & strong-practice strategic solutions. This team member has a minimum of seven years of experience in strategic design and planning, design thinking, and systems change, as well as stakeholder coordination. This thoughtful team member will help define and design strategic interventions in complex humanitarian and community environments, while working closely with stakeholders to ensure effective decision-making and accountability. The Associate works with a deep sense of time criticalness, and both time and stress management to deliver with excellence. She / he will be working on a full-time basis and will be working on a variety of projects and missions run by The Zovighian Partnership. The successful candidate would need to be in a position to begin by no later than February 1, 2022.?Working hours are generally on Mondays-Fridays from 9:00-18:00 when in Lebanon, with the flexibility to travel on a semi-frequent basis, especially to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.?Key responsibilities

  • Support the strategic design, feasibility analysis, and social investment case development of interventions / projects / missions
  • Conduct market landscaping and benchmark analyses to support the strategic planning of interventions / projects / missions
  • Conduct regular multimedia-based literature review to build expertise and stay informed on subject matters critical to strategic planning and interventions / projects / missions
  • Develop strategic plans and other associated documentation to present key strategic recommendations to stakeholders in Arabic and English, keeping documentation up-to-date with any developments / changes
  • Develop stakeholder documentation in a timely manner to support governance and decision-making processes in Arabic and English
  • Support stakeholder accountability by coordinating stakeholder follow-ups and maintaining an up-to-date CRM
  • Design strategic toolkits to support decentralized and sustainable implementation of interventions / projects / missions
  • Lead project modules by managing project scopes; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily / weekly / monthly priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and nurturing stakeholder relationships
  • Work closely with execution / client teams, supporting with capacity-building, ownership-building, risk management, and reporting
