We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Sales Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for maintaining the store’s appearance, managing cash registers, and providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:Greet customers and assist them with their purchases.Operate cash registers, handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and provide receipts.Ensure the accuracy of sales transactions and maintain cash register balance.Answer customer inquiries, provide product information, and recommend items.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.Restock shelves and ensure product displays are neat and attractive.Follow company policies and procedures for transaction processing and customer service.Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally.Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.Promote ongoing sales, discounts, and promotions.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred.Basic math and computer skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
