Job Description

AUIB is looking to employ a Student Recruitment Officer to support the universitys enrollment, retention, and graduation goals, establish, and administer programs for recruiting students to the universitys undergraduate programs. Independently represents the institution to targeted high schools and other institutions and academies. Processes, analyzes, and reports on data collected through recruitment efforts, as well as strategizes on opportunities to enhance recruitment efforts.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Represents the university to targeted institutions; visits high schools; speaks to groups and individual students; meets with school principals, administrators, and/or other representatives to promote outreach activities; and, as required, assists other recruiters.
  2. Develops, coordinates, and delivers outreach programs, marketing strategies, and recruitment efforts; arranges visits and tours for prospective students and parents.
  3. Serves independently as the point person for internal coordination of university student recruitment and enrollment management goals, utilizing specific knowledge gained about admissions, registration criteria, financial aid and/or scholarship information, and deadlines.
  4. Serves as a liaison between prospects and point-of-contact representatives in the academic colleges, utilizing specific knowledge gained from the university colleges, educational programs, and degrees.
  5. Participates in and/or organizes and implements all aspects of large, multi-departmental special events, utilizing presentation and promotional materials, maintaining budgetary and operational controls, developing coordination skills with multiple entities, and representing the university at local, statewide, and national events.
  6. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
