Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify and address safety hazards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Oversee construction activities, verifying they align with plans and specifications.
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to stake out locations for buildings, roads, utilities, and other structures.
Address technical issues arising during construction, working with engineers, surveyors, and subcontractors to find solutions.
Perform or oversee quality control tests on materials and construction methods.
Liaise with construction crews, foremen, and subcontractors, providing technical guidance and resolving onsite challenges.
Communicate progress updates, potential delays, and any critical information to project managers and other stakeholders.
Maintain detailed site documentation, including inspection reports, photographs, and as-built drawings reflecting any deviations from original plans.
