Job Description

Responsible for planning and supervising all transportation and supply chain operations within the organization, including fleet management, organizing shipping and distribution, and ensuring timely delivery of orders with maximum possible efficiency. Works on improving transportation routes and reducing operational costs, monitoring the performance of suppliers and drivers, and ensuring compliance with safety systems and established regulations. Collaborates with other departments to ensure operational continuity and availability of materials and services without interruption.Responsibilities:Establish the overall strategy for the sector and achieve its operational and financial objectives.Direct supervision of the maintenance department, operations department, projects and contracts department, and logistics operations department.Manage the annual budget for the sector and monitor costs and improve profitability.Ensure the readiness of the fleet and equipment through the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance plans.Enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with delivery deadlines while minimizing downtime.Supervise contract management and negotiations with clients and partners.Monitor the performance of customer relations units and contract units to ensure achieving objectives.Supervise customs clearance operations and storage activities and ensure compliance with systems.Analyze performance indicators and raise periodic reports for senior management.Implement safety standards and compliance and manage operational hazards and contractual obligations.Develop strategic relationships with clients and relevant entities.Lead work teams and promote a culture of performance and professional discipline.SkillsQualifications and Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.Minimum 10 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector.Proven leadership experience in managing multiple departmental sectors.Familiarity with transportation systems, fleet management, contracts, and customs clearance.Strong ability to analyze data and manage performance indicators.Essential Skills:High-level strategic leadership and building effective work teams.Advanced planning and operational skills in managing fleets and logistics operations.Strong ability to manage budgets and control costs and achieve profitability.Professional negotiation skills and managing client relationships.Ability to make quick decisions based on data and financial and operational analysis.Managing hazards and compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines.Strong communication and formal representation skills before stakeholders and clients.Ability to manage change and continuously improve operations.Effective utilization of technology systems related to transport and logistics management.
