Job Description

Responsible for planning and supervising all transportation and supply chain operations within the company, including fleet management, organizing freight movement and distribution, and ensuring timely delivery of requests with maximum possible efficiency. The role focuses on improving transportation routes and reducing operational costs, monitoring the performance of suppliers and drivers, and ensuring compliance with safety systems and established regulations. Additionally, it collaborates with other departments to ensure operational continuity and the provision of materials and services without interruption.Key Responsibilities:Establish the overall strategy for the sector and achieve its operational and financial objectives.Direct supervision of the maintenance department, operations department, projects and contracts department, and logistics operations department.Manage the annual budget for the sector, monitor costs, and improve profitability.Ensure fleet readiness and equipment through the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance plans.Enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with delivery schedules while minimizing downtime.Oversee contract management and negotiations with clients and partners.Monitor customer relationship performance and regional contract management to ensure optimal outcomes.Supervise customs clearance operations and storage processes while ensuring compliance with systems.Analyze performance indicators and provide periodic reports to senior management.Implement safety standards and compliance, and manage operational hazards and contracts.Develop strategic relationships with clients and relevant entities.Lead work teams and promote a culture of performance and professional discipline.SkillsQualifications and Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.Minimum of 10 years of experience in the logistics and transportation sector.Proven leadership experience in managing multiple departmental sectors.Familiarity with transportation systems, fleet management, contracts, and customs clearance.Strong analytical skills to analyze data and manage performance indicators.Core Skills:High-level strategic leadership and building effective work teams.Advanced planning and operational skills in managing fleets and logistics operations.Strong ability to manage budgets and control costs while achieving profitability.Professional negotiation skills and client relationship management.Ability to make quick decisions based on data and financial and operational analysis.Management of hazards and compliance with regulatory systems and organizational regulations.High communication skills and professional representation before stakeholders and clients.Ability to manage change and continuously improve operations.Innovative use of technology systems related to transportation and logistics management.
