Destructive Testing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking for our client in UAE and experienced Destructive Testing Engineer to join team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing destructive testing on carbon steel pipes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.Responsibility:• To carry out Mechanical, Chemical and metallurgical tests in due compliance with the test standards and record test results in corresponding workbooks.• To assist Laboratory Manager/ Technical Supervisor in maintaining compliance to ISO/ IEC 17025: 2017 standard and EIAC Requirements• To instruct Lab technicians and assistants on sample preparation after discussion with the Technical Supervisor if in doubt.• To transfer test results to corresponding Test Registration sheets properly after being authorized by the Technical Supervisor.• To assist Technical Supervisor in maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring validity of its calibration.• To perform intermediate check of equipment when instructed by the Technical Supervisor.• To maintain Testing Records such as Equipment files, Workbooks, Registers etc.• To perform consumable evaluation and maintain its records when instructed by the Technical Supervisor.• To bring to the notice of Technical Supervisor/ Laboratory Manager any deviations from the set objectives and procedures.• To ensure proper housekeeping of the laboratory.• To carry out additional tasks when assigned by Technical Supervisor/ Laboratory Manager. Physical Requirements• Comfortable working in an industrial environment, including exposure to noise and extreme temperatures.• Capacity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and telephones.• Capability to sit, stand, and move around as necessary during the workday.• Proficiency in using office software for documentation and communication.• Capability to lift and carry light objects occasionally.• Ability to handle the chemicals used in Destructive Testing.• Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods during testing operations.Benefits:Basic Salary AED 300-4000 ; 80% of Basic Salary (First 3 Months) ; Accommodation & Food Provided by Company; Duration of Contract -2 Years ; Visa -Employment; Annual leave with Air ticket by company :GENERAL INFORMATION REQUIREDPlease send all documents in following sequence of attachment since we are unable to process in absence of incomplete documents & information.
