Number: 151412 Years of Experience 6 - 16Vocational Training and Labour Market Advisor and Requirements TheTriple Winproject in Jordan is seeking forVocational Training and Labour Market Advisor- on full-time base employment as per the below job profile.Qualifications and specialist knowledge* University Degree in social sciences, nursing, migration, business administration or related field. * At least 4 years of experience in project coordinating and management in an international context; experience working with GIZ is an advantage.* At least 2 years of experience in dealing with a multi-stakeholder environment* Sound knowledge on migration and international cooperation; knowledge of the Jordanian nursing sector.* Languages: Arabic and English; German language skills are an advantage.* Strong management, organizational, communication and social skills.* Very good command of the usual MS office and internet applications.* Ready to travel as needed within Jordan; occasional travel to Germany may be required.BackgroundThe Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a German federal enterprise. We work to shape a future worth living in over 120 countries around the world. In Germany, the nursing sector is facing a significant shortage of nurses, which is projected to still grow in the future. According to expert estimates, the nursing sector will need 150,000 new nurses by 2025. Since 2013, GIZ International Services and the International Placement Services (Zentrale Auslands- und Fachvermittlung, ZAV) of the German Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit, BA) cooperate in the joint project Triple Win for the recruitment of nurses from third countries for placement of work in Germany. On the 10th May 2022, the Jordanian Ministry of Labour (MoL) and the German Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit, BA) signed an agreement on the Placement of Jordanian Health Professionals from Jordan in Employment as Registered General Nurse in the Federal Republic of Germany. The objective is to establish a safe, orderly, and regular mechanism for the recruitment and placement of Jordanian nurses for work in Germany. The placement agreement will be implemented in cooperation with the MoL through the Triple Win project.Core tasksIn your role you are responsible for the technical, substantive and organisational implementation of a projects measures and activities. In consultation with your line manager, you also assume tasks related to planning, steering and monitoring the project, including project administration tasks in some cases. You are also responsible for providing specialist support to colleagues in bands 2 and 3, and ensure the quality of the commissions outcomes. In addition you contribute to the conceptual design of the project, in particular its modification or realignment. You make technical and substantive contributions to overarching issues in cooperation with commissioning parties/clients, partners and other actors and thereby support the achievement of the agreed objectives of the respective project and provide impetus for further strategy development. In coordination with the country director and your line manager, you also use your contacts for the acquisition of contracts on behalf of the company. In consultation with your team colleagues and line manager, you also coordinate all issues within your area of work and ensure that they are dealt with promptly and competently. You resolve problems that arise in your area of responsibility on the basis of existing rules and draw attention to more complex challenges in your team. In consultation with your line manager, under your role you may assume management responsibility for staff members in band 1, with due regard for P+R and GIZs applicable HR policies, instruments and procedures. You are involved in ongoing process development within your remit, are responsible for knowledge management and prepare and share documentation. If required, you also support other experts in familiarising themselves with and performing their tasks.
