Job Description

Role summary:The University Counselor is responsible for assisting students in identifying colleges and universities which best match their strengths and interests, also providing support and advice in completing the necessary applications. He/she is also responsible for administering all aspects of the universities search and admissions process.Main responsibilities:

  • Administer the College Counseling Office and communicate information on colleges, universities, scholarships and financial aid to the school community
  • Organize university fairs, host admissions representatives at the school campus
  • Inform students and parents about universities and their admissions process and procedures
  • Work individually with students to explore their academic and career interests, and assist them with the college search and application process
  • Write official school recommendation letters for each students as necessary
  • Keep parents informed regarding test dates, college events, and opportunities of scholarships and financial aid
  • Update the school profile related to university matters
