Avertra Corp is looking for a Product Designer (UI/UX) who, undergeneral direction, will create user-centered design solutions for enterpriseexperiences that feature ease of use, employ best-in-class interaction design,and optimize the user experience across mobile and web platforms. In this roleyou will work with business, technical, and product leads to understanding thebusiness vision, objectives, and transformation plans to help identifyopportunities to create best-in-class experiences.You could be a great fit forthis role if you are:

• A Visual Craftsman: You will create low and high-fidelity illustrations tocommunicate design ideas as well as detailed design specifications for thefinished product. You will ensure Avertra brand standards are appropriatelyintegrated into all final designs to deliver a consistent experience.
• An Experience Innovator: You will work throughout all phases of the designprocess such as conceptual design, storyboards,

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Shepherd UI / UX design across multiple features and produce elements,focusing on the interaction design and user experience flow for these areas
• Prototype UI using Figma
• Break down experiences thoughtfully considering how we might order adesign?s implementation during prototyping and pre-production - makingappropriate trade-offs between form and function
• Set experiential quality metrics and evolve interaction guidelines tounify the user experience across product features and processes
• Collaborate with teammates by providing and receiving creative/teamfeedback, creative contributions, and providing clear goals with intentionallydesired outcomes
• Create user-centered designs by understanding Avertrabusiness requirements, and user feedback
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, userjourneys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Translate requirements into style guides, design systems,design patterns, and attractive user interfaces.
• Design UI elements such as input controls, navigationalcomponents, and informationalcomponents.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g.responsiveness)
• Act as a QA agent to ensure engineers follow the designs signed off bythe business and product teams
• Facilitate Avertra?s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching,prototyping, and user-testing experiences for newideas

Education:

• Bachelor?sdegree/diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Engineering, or related field

Experience:

• 3+years prior experience as a UI/UX Designer as well as a strong portfolio

Skills:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specificallyIllustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
• Proficient in prototyping tools such as Figma, InVision, etc.
• Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailedrequirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs andvision.
• Extensive experience in using UI/UX design best practicesto design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsivedesign.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning andconducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping,heuristic analysis,, usability and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently andintelligently.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate designprocesses, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting includingsynthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
• Be excited about collaborating and communicating closelywith teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliverdesign solutions for approval.
• Passionate about resolving user pain points through greatdesign.
• Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
• Excellent English communication skills and can clearlyarticulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions
• Strong team player who can collaborateeffectively with different stakeholders
