The ?Psychosocial Support and Traumawork in Jordan Project? in Jordan is seeking for a ?Technical Advisor? - on a full-time base employment as per below job profile.Starting date: as soon as possible Contract Duration: 10 months?Job Profile A.?????Required qualifications, competences and experienceQualifications

• BA/MA/MSc in psychology, social work, public health, sociology, nursing or any other related field of work

?Professional experience

• at least 7 years? professional experience in a comparable position concerning mental health and psychosocial support for refugees
• experience in working with Government authorities and public health centres
• experience in developing training material and in organizing trainings on mental health and psychosocial support
• experience in digitalization of online services and of trainings concerning mental health and psychosocial support
• experience in staff-care and self-care measures and in their implementation
• experience in working with refugees
• experience in working in an international organization

B.?????ResponsibilitiesThe technical advisor is responsible for

• implementing the psychosocial support training measures of the project such as on psychosocial support for female survivors of violence, psychosocial support of adolescents, psychosocial support to families as well as psychosocial support to other relevant actors in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Health and other Government Institutions
• implementing the measures on staff-care and self-care with the Jordanian Ministry of Health
• supporting the sustainability strategy for psychosocial support in selected Comprehensive Health Centres in communities with refugees
• implementing the relevant activities connected to the implementation of trainings on psychosocial support in order to ensure its sustainability
• assisting in planning activities and monitoring the results of the project
• assisting in project initiatives to provide professional advisory services to and cooperate with a broad range of target groups
• preforming any other tasks as requested by the project manager

The technical advisor performs the following tasks:C.?????Tasks1.??????Advising the partner institution(s)The technical advisor

• provides technical advice with regards to identifying training needs and training measures on psychosocial support with the partners and facilitates their capacity development processes
• provides technical advice with regards to staff-care/self-care, assists and monitors the development and implementation of project plans and activities in close consultation with the Jordanian Ministry of Health
• supports the project manager in the strategy development with contribution of technical and content-related advice to overarching topics in cooperation with partners
• prepares and publishes relevant documents such as handbooks, training manuals, reports in English and Arabic
• contributes to preparing and implementing the coordination process, joint project activities and work at the national and community level
• prepares the content, design, preparation and implementation of workshops, seminars and other events on issues connected with the projects area of activity

2.??????Networking and cooperation The technical advisor

• supports cooperation, regular contact and dialogue with partners especially the MHPSS working group, other national and international networks on MHPSS as well as GIZ internal working groups
• cooperates with local communities, relevant organizations, non-governmental agencies and individuals in the project environment and with other projects to improve and maintain good working relationships
• communicates local interests and efforts, forwards these and encourages sharing ideas and information for the benefit of the project

?3.??????Knowledge managementThe technical advisor

• ensures knowledge transfer to the project as well as shares experience gained with the partner organization
• develops ready-to-use strategies and technical concepts
• prepares reports, manuals, handbooks and content-specific publications for the partner organization

• assists with general project planning and develops relevant concepts and roadmaps
