* Teacher of English Teacher of EnglishLocation Winterbourne, South GloucestershireTeacher of English (1 FTE)Contract: Limited term (temporary)Duration: 1st September 2022 to August 2023, or the post-holders return if earlierThe RoleWe are seeking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Teacher of English from September 2022. This contract is temporary to cover the maternity leave of the substantive post-holder until August 2023, or the post-holders return if earlier. The successful candidate will be required to deliver high quality lessons, motivate, challenge and inspire our students. Developing exciting and engaging learning experiences across all year groups. They will be committed to closing gaps and raising attainment across all abilities, whatever the starting point. They should have a strong sense of team work and a willingness to contribute and a desire to improve their own and the facultys practice. We are looking for a candidate who will form positive relationships with students and their parents/carers, to support them and gain their trust.The AcademyWinterbourne Academy (WA) is a vibrant and successful learning community located in South Gloucestershire (on the outskirts of Bristol). It is the largest academy in the county with a long tradition of high academic outcomes. It is part of a family of schools operated under the leadership of the Olympus Academy Trust.
