The Digital Skills Association aims to hire a Strategy and Research Manager to support the preparation and implementation of DigiSkills? activities and will report directly to the Managing Director.?Responsibilities of the Strategy and Research Manager?1.?????Conducting skills gap analysis and trends projections pertaining to digital skills2.?????Monitoring and evaluating progress3.?????Designing and executing surveys; analyzing data collected through surveys; preparing reports based on survey findings4.?????Analyzing internal data on the skills ecosystem alongside with external data (for instance, macroeconomic, socio-economic, financial etc.) to derive trends and insights5.?????Experience creating mixed methods research design, conceptual and research frameworks, and logic models6.?????Conducting research on questions of interest using statistical and econometric techniques and tools; Qualitative research and literature reviews7.?????Responding to queries with quantitative and qualitative inputs8.?????Providing analytical support to other teams where required9.?????Maintaining research collaborations and engagement with external agencies: preparing and providing input for RFP documents; providing inputs on approaches and methodologies; regularly reviewing deliverables10.?Reporting as per specified procedures11.?Other duties as assignedDuration of Assignment?The contract period is for one year, renewable up on annual appraisal. The Strategy and Research Manager must diligently perform in a proper and efficient manner the duties set out within this ToR and any other tasks or responsibilities that may arise in relation to DigiSkills needs.
