To maintain the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards, as well as the operating equipment.ÿCore Responsibilities:?ÿSupervises care and cleaning of all floors, walls, baseboards, and equipment in food service areas within the location (sweep, mop, etc.)?ÿAssist and coordinate the washing of dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and /or pans using a dishwasher or by hand.?ÿOversee the proper disposal of waste and ensure recycling initiatives are implemented wherever possible to minimize the environmental impact.?ÿMaintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment needed for the stewarding department, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.?ÿIdentify and resolve any issues related to cleanliness, equipment malfunction, or stewarding operations to maintain efficient workflows.?ÿFollow department policies, procedures, and service standards.?ÿMaintain a clean and safe work environment.?ÿDevelop and implement cleaning and sanitation procedures.?ÿTakes ownership of the planned deep cleaning and preventative maintenance program to maintain high cleanliness standards and address maintenance matters.?ÿEnsures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered, and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.
