The Digital Skills Association aims to hire a Standards and Quality Assurance Manager to support the preparation and implementation of DigiSkills? activities and will report directly to the Managing Director.Responsibilities of the Standards and Quality Assurance Manager1.?????Identification of skill development needs, including preparing a catalogue of occupations, standards, classifications, and skills/competencies2.?????Leading the development and governance of occupational standards, and credentials3.?????Developing and updating competency-based education and training qualifications, curricula, assessments, and certification mechanisms relevant to the ICT sector4.?????Establishing and maintaining a database of all ICT qualifications and courseware, including of those developed by the private sector5.?????Developing and overseeing key operations involving quality assurance mechanisms, accreditation and audit systems, and affiliation and validation policies and protocols6.?????Anchoring assessment and certification processes taking place within the ICT sector. Participation in the setting up of affiliation, accreditation, examination and certification norms7.?????Developing skilled ICT trainers, assessors, and assessment (or training program) auditors8.?????Promotion of academies of excellence9.?????Designing inclusive skilling requirements for differently abled and minority groups10.?Ensuring that the persons trained and skilled in accordance with the norms laid down are assured of employment at decent wages11.?Other duties as assignedDuration of AssignmentThe contract period is for one year, renewable up on annual appraisal. The Standards and Quality Assurance Manager must diligently perform in a proper and efficient manner the duties set out within this ToR and any other tasks or responsibilities that may arise in relation to DigiSkills needs.
