You have proven experience buildingframeworks while also building a culture of excellence, influencing developers so they can contribute to scaling it, andcollaborate with others.You will partner with each of our domain groups to not only write the initial suite of tests, but also to understand theirroadmaps so you can proactively provide them with the tools, support, and foundational knowledge that allows teams tocreate their own tests as part of our definition of done. The role requires a technical leader with empathy to negotiatewith teams? needs in an ambiguous environment amid a fast past environment.The Sr QA Automation Engineer exhibits high standards in identifying technical/process improvements and defines thetechnical roadmap and quarterly initiatives to deliver scalable solutions and achieve organizational objectives. They areresponsible for the architecture, design and implementation of various forms of automated test frameworks and solvingcomplex technical issues across our product test code. They lead/mentor other QA Engineers and work side by sidewith area leaders to improve overall software quality and recommend opportunities for improvement.Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesActively manage test suite coverage across product solutions to consistently deliver high-quality softwareLead efforts to design test automation strategy and contribute to building tools, frameworks, or any infrastructurerequired. Identify opportunities for test architecture and implementation that can be reused by multiple teams.Champion implementation of advanced forms of full stack test strategy and develop test automationframeworks/tools across multiple platforms.Initiate technical design sessions and write technical design documents for any proposed quality systems.Drive implementation of new test frameworks, methodologies, and industry best practices to establish high codequality across the company.Provide insights on how to improve product quality, reliability, and stability through a data-informed approach.Proactively manage test pipelines, respond to triage rotations, address quarantined unreliable tests, guidedevelopers on debugging root causes of test failure, and introduce stable tests back to the pipeline.Identify and lead strategic technical initiatives, OKRs, or projects across multiple functions or the organization.Recommend, develop, design, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools for our multi-stacktechnologies.
