Follows all relevant Operations and Maintenance policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
? ? ? Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Operations and Maintenance to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
? ? ? Leads and directs the technicians or operations teams within the shift to comply with the directions of the Engineering team.
? ? ? ?Monitors system performance and function after accomplishment of any recommended modification, maintenance task or significant event and special assignment.
? ? ? Monitors all maintenance faults, malfunctions, defects, deferred defects and other occurrences which could affect the continuing operations.
? ? ? Analyses components? durability and failure trends?and prepares preventive maintenance plans. Additionally, analyzes process and requirements and?prepares operation plans.
? ? ? ?Provides technical guidance and coaching and support for technical or operation teams?to ensure individuals are equipped with the necessary skills.
? ? ? Monitors the operating conditions, identifies and responds appropriately to problems, allocates or escalates them as necessary and monitors and records their rectification.
? ? ? Ensures compliance of operations under own supervision with the industry standards and requirements or regulating authorities.
? ? ? Trains subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Operations and Maintenance unit activity is carried out in an efficient manner.
