Job Description

Job Summary Under the directions of the Shipping & Logistics Manager, this job is responsible for handling all activities related to shipping the product to the customers in bulk vessels.Executive & Technical Duties

  • Coordinates with Sales regarding schedule of shipments.
  • Collects and negotiates freight with shipping lines/brokers/owners and submit offers to Shipping & Logistics Manager for further approval from the Senior Marketing Operations Director.
  • Coordinates with the Loading Section at Aqaba and nominates fixed vessels.
  • Follows up the loading progress, by coordinating with Aqaba, vessels? agents and inspection companies.
  • Coordinates with Documentation and Sales to collect external documents required.
  • Verifying and laytime calculations.
  • Facilitates settlements of freight invoices and submit them to Finance through the Shipping & Logistics Manager & the Senior Marketing Operations Director.
  • Follows up cargo delivery at discharging port through agents, brokers to ensure smooth delivery of the product to the customer.
  • Records each shipment details both electronically and manually.
  • Assists the Shipping & Logistics Manager in his duties.
  • Collects data pertaining to the preparation of the daily a report regarding product inventory and production from various Departments.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
