About Sherpa for Development ConsultingSherpa is a women-led socio-economic development consulting firm that was established in 2020 with a clear aspiration to support economic and human capital development. We offer consulting services in the areas of public policy in education, labor market & employment, youth, women empowerment, economic development, and government delivery.We believe in every human?s right to self-actualize and realize their potential. Therefore, we work on issues that allow and facilitate people?s capacity to break out of vicious cycles of poverty, lack of education, and unemployability. We do this by bringing a nuanced perspective brought by recognition of challenges faced by stakeholders on opposing ends of the societal spectrum, and supporting governments and development partners? roles in helping people to break vicious cycles and take a proactive position in their lives? narratives.Sherpa supports the implementation of public policy programs with key government entities, and is currently implementing a number of projects for clients in Jordan and Saudi Arabia across different fields including socio-economic development and public safety. We are currently looking for a number of consultants to deploy to projects in Saudi Arabia with different levels of experience starting from intermediate positions (5 ? 10 years of experience) to project and program managers? positions (10 years and above).

  • You will play a key role in developing and delivering strategy-based projects to government and development clients across Jordan and Saudi Arabia including the development of operating models for new organizations, devising strategies, and designing and implementing national initiatives based on research, benchmarks, and extensive consultations
  • You will be part of a high performing team, interacting with industry professionals and experts
  • You will be managing day to day delivery of large-scale projects including technical delivery, project management, and interacting with clients
  • You will support the facilitation of clients to elaborate on proposed implementation approach
  • You will be expected to be capable of concisely defining problems and interpreting client requests and hypothesize proposed solutions
  • You will be performing quantitative and qualitative analysis (including data collection and analysis, desk review, and benchmarking)
  • You will synthesize findings and recommendations based on analysis and present those clearly to clients using PowerPoint Presentations and Models and Charts developed using Excel
  • You will develop and present deliverables and progress reports
  • Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative solutions for Public Sector entities, helping them restructure their organizational structures, and service delivery models.
