We work to build the resilience of Syrians, and to relieve the impact on the Jordanian communities that host them. Syrian refugees in Jordan are struggling. As they contend with difficult living conditions across the country, the obstacles are complex. They struggle to remain registered as refugees, to provide for their families, and to access essential services ? including education for their children. The Jordanian communities that host them, meanwhile, feel the impact of hosting high numbers of refugees ? with each year that passes, local infrastructure becomes more strained. on initiatives. Responsibilities for Internal CandidatesGeneric responsibilities- Anti-Corruption Training Delivery- Support in corruption risk prevention via corruption risk mapping (CRM) activities and spot checks.- Focal point for the Securing Supporting Documentation project.- Administrative support focal point for investigations.- Support the risk and compliance coordinator with data protection initiatives.- Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.Specific Responsibilities* Deliver NRC?s anti-corruption induction training to all newly hired staff.* Conduct an annual anti-corruption refresher training to all staff.* Support risk prevention initiatives via spot checks on cross cutting issues.* Monitor corruption risk mapping (CRM) activities and produce monthly, quarterly and annual CRM reports.* Conduct monthly sample checks of the financial transactions produced to ensure compliance with the securing supporting documentation (SSD) SoP.* Produce quarterly analysis reports on the data collected from the monthly SSD checks.* Coordination with investigator pool, investigation reporting, and all investigations administrative tasks to be completed in accordance with the investigations toolkit.* Support the risk and compliance coordinator in establishing more robust data protecti Qualifications for Internal CandidatesProfessional competenciesThese are skills, knowledge and experience that are important for effective performance.Professional competencies:* University degree in relevant field, or significant training and experience in the field of risk and compliance.* Excellent command of written and spoken English & Arabic* At least 3 years relevant risk and compliance experienceContext/Specific skills, knowledge and experience:* Experience in humanitarian sector.* Experience in risk and compliance and or administrative investigations.* Ability to respond to changing priorities.* Ability to work independently on own initiative.Behavioural competenciesThe following competencies areessentialfor this position: * Analytical and problem-solving skills with solution focused thinking.* Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver quality results on time.* Excellent coordination skills, including organizing and facilitating trainings, assessments, and meetings to initiate action and change.* Excellent English report writing skills.* Ability to remain neutral and handle sensitive information confidentially and responsibly.* Analytic and computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).Critical interfacesRelevant interfaces for this position: * Office departments* Heads of units* Relevant regional specialistsWe can offer* Contract period: Through to 31 Dec 2022 (Renewal based on funding and performance)* Salary/benefits: 1389 JOD (subject to social security and Income tax)* Duty station: Amman
