Category Registration and Scheduling Location Work Type (Portal Searching) Full Time BenefitsDescription of Position:Under guidance and supervision, the associate performs reception, billing, scheduling, insurance verification and benefit coordination, filing, record keeping and other duties throughout the hospital. This position is fluid throughout the day and will be in outpatient registration areas, in the Emergency Room, and registering patients in Inpatient Units. The Registration Specialist is expected to acquire an understanding of and proficiency in all functions of their assigned area. Brings any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of hospital administrative staff.
