Job Description

Job Brief:Responsible for providing a high level of 2G/3G/4G_TDD/4G_FDD network optimization to ensure an optimum radio frequency performance within the limited resources available, ensure network coverage capacity, and meet quality targets (scope of work covers both fixed and mobile technologies)Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enhance 2G/3G/4G radio network KPI?s within agreed SLA?s
  • Isolate worst performing network elements and target them with the proper optimization action
  • Perform periodic consistency checks to ensure the network baseline is respected
  • Recommend and follow up on RF capacity upgrades to ensure congestion levels are kept to a minimum
  • Provide guidance and suggest optimization actions based on processed drive tests results
  • Perform SW and HW optimization and tuning actions to enhance KPIs at cell/site/cluster/network levels
  • Collect Network KPIs on daily bases and compare it to targets and set/follow plan to reach target, or resolve any deviation from targets
  • Introduce new features, releases, technologies into the existing radio network
  • Handle the execution of Umniah?s technical department strategy relating to RF network optimization and quality enhancements
  • Keep RF data accuracy to 99% through performing high level consistency checks and identifying discrepancies for correction
  • Identify new sites needs/installation needs (coverage and capacity), follow Umniah procedure and rules through executing (S1, S2, S3, TSSR, SSV and initial optimization) taking into consideration TRC regulations
  • Attend to TRC customer complaints and providing the correct resolution for solution
