Its mission is to strengthen healthcare systems and provide to everyone, especially children, equal chances and opportunities of survival and development. CDE is currently active in twenty-seven (27) countries with a global approach, mainly focusing on children, mothers, and disadvantaged communities. Find our activities briefly elaborated as follows: * Prevention and screening from an early age, particularly through school health programs.* Care and surgery to meet the most urgent needs of children and their mothers.* Training and transfer of skills to local teams (capacity building) thanks to our international network of experts in all areas of surgery.* Construction and equipment of hospital facilities adapted to local needs. Since 2012, CDE has been mobilized in Jordan where access to health services remains very limited for refugees mostly coming from Syria - as well as for the most vulnerable Jordanians. As pediatric orthopedic impairments are not detected on-timely manner CDE, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Health is implementing a medical and surgical aid program to: * Contribute to the improvement of health conditions and inclusion of vulnerable populations in Jordan* Strengthen access to specialized medical care through the organization of early detection campaigns, as well as dispensed pediatric orthopedic consultations, surgical and rehabilitation care, and psychosocial support. Within the frame of its new programming in Jordan, La ChaĆne de lEspoir is looking for a Project Manager.GENERAL DESCRIPTIONUnder the management of the Head of Mission, the Project Manager is responsible for the timely and quality implementation of La ChaĆne de lEspoirs activities, directly managing one (1) senior early detection officer and four (4) enumerators.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESProject cycle management* Performs regular field visits to ensure the quality of implementation* Leads the timely and quality implementation of the project in line with the donors requirements* Prepares timely and cost-effective operational plans* Is responsible for the effective activities follow-up, in line with the projects objectives* Coordinates the revision and creation of the necessary tools to ensure quality project implementation, in close collaboration with the Medical Manager* Pro-actively proposes to the Head of Mission re-adjustments of the project based on documented challenges, gaps, weaknesses, lessons learned, and best practices* Keeps CDEs team informed on any issues related to the project implementation or other encountered challenges* Mainstream protection, gender, and environmental aspects throughout the project cycleFinancial, Logistics, and HR management* Collaborates with the Financial Department to identify needs and ensure effective and timely program management (budget follow-up as budget holder of program lines, etc.)* Collaborates with the Logistics department to identify needs and ensure effective and timely program management (project procurement plan, raise procurement requests, etc.)* Collaborates with the HR departments to identify needs and ensure effective and timely program management (job description, interviews, recruitment plan, staff training plans, etc.)Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)* Develops an M&E plan for each project* Puts in place an Accountability to Affected Populations plan including feedback and complaint mechanisms information-sharing, and transparency* Oversees the monitoring aspect of the projects (regular update of the detailed implementation plan, beneficiaries counting, etc.)* Contributes to the evaluation aspect of the projects (participates in the terms of references, etc.)* Oversees the learning aspect of the projects (leads lessons learned exercises, etc.)* Drafts the necessary reports linked to the MEAL aspects (provides statistics, highlight main trends, suggests recommendations, etc.)Reporting* Submits monthly internal reports on program achievements to the Head of Mission* Leads the preparation and writing of donor reports (including beneficiaries counting, annexes, etc.)* Supporting external reporting related to the project, when required* Leads the writing of success storiesPartnership and networking* Manages existing partnerships, and is proactive in identifying new ones* Reviews partners deliverables, in close collaboration with the other departments (financial reports, requests for payments, etc.)* Develops and maintains good relationships with other relevant field stakeholders* Participates actively in coordination meetings and thematic working groups where relevant, and in collaboration with the Medical ManagerManagement* Daily management of one (1) Senior Officer and monthly basis, four (4) enumerators.* Performs HR management activities, including organizing priorities, building capacities, and assessing performance in close coordination with the Medical Manager for any medical-related issues.* Actively contributes to the recruitment of team members (drafting job descriptions, leading interviews, etc.) if/when required* Performs regular spot-checks (databases, etc.)* Ensures strict respect by his/her team for CDEs procedures (security procedure, leave requests, etc.)CDEs country strategy and proposals writing* Contributes to the design and development of the country strategy, in close collaboration with the Head of Mission* Leads need assessments, in close collaboration with the other departments* Contributes to proposals writing and amendmentsOthers* Develops a communication and visibility plan (flyers, brochures, success stories, etc.)* Supports in the preparation and conduction of audits as regards the programmatic aspects* Is responsible to ensure timely and adequate archiving of the programmatic documents (soft and hard) Any other tasks as requested by the Head of Mission.TEAM RELATIONSHIPLine and technical manager: Head of MissionLine and technical reports:Senior ED Officer (directly);
