Job Description

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that project objectives/ implementation are on track/, ensure implementation and documentation according to donor requirements.Core Responsibilities:

  • ÿCoordinates and follows up on project implementation with concerned support departments; reports any delays or problems hindering the implementation of the project to facilitate daily operations.
  • ÿConducts regular field visits to the targeted areas to monitor and ensure the implementation of project activities.
  • Monitors and controls financial expenditure of projects, assists in developing alternative plans to utilize balance of funds remaining after the completion of projects;
  • Collects data and information on the progress of project implementation for use in the monthly monitoring report; to ensure working within the action plan.
  • Creates and maintains projects database and project master plan, follows up and updates relevant data to produce accurate information and maintains and reports up-to-date information on projects as required;
  • ÿMaintains close communication and proactive coordination with donors to follow up on the establishment of project schedule, ensuring conformity with the Program?s plans and priorities;
  • ÿMonitors tracks closely the project plan implementation according to time and achieves objectives; and ensures that all project activities and relevant documents are documented/archived according to donor requirements;
  • ÿSupports the field team with all documents and information needed; for proper project implantation to ensure that, the project remains on track and production of reports in a timely manner.
  • Follows up with project clients and mentors periodically ensuring the success of the outcomes that are desired by the project, and the correct implementation of project activities.
  • Communicates with project partners in the targeted areas, facilitating collaboration and communicating changes and developments on day-to-day activities.
  • Represents the foundation in an adequate manner in the targeted areas, and with the targeted population, as well as, with different partners and stakeholders.
