Core Responsibilities: ?ÿAble to identify opportunities (e.g. RFPs) and support in assessing them based on the organizational needs, capacity, and vision.ÿ?ÿContributes to the proposal development process, in coordination and alignment with various departments and team members.?ÿContributes to designing interventions and programs in collaboration with technical teams, and is responsible for authoring specific components of the proposals, such as: objectives/outcomes/activities, context analysis, implementation approach and plan, executive summaries, organization capacity statements, and past experience. Preferably with experience drafting proposals and concept notes for international donors.?ÿConducts research and contributes to drafting research reports such as market assessments; especially in the fields of community empowerment, livelihood, child protection, and women and youth empowerment.?ÿPrepares and conducts presentations, such as those highlighting the organization?s capacity and experience, and discussing the proposed project details.?ÿSupports institutional systems that provide improved methods of forecasting upcoming business opportunities and develop Business Opportunity Plans at the country and regional levels.?ÿEnsures that templates and tools for proposal development are developed.?ÿActively coordinates and participates in planning/status meetings to ensure proper adherence to good proposal management practices.ÿ
