Number: 150711 Citizenships Jordan Residence Country Jordan Years of Experience 3 - 5Procurement & Supply Chain Officer and RequirementsCore Responsibilities:Procurement:* Provide support and assistance in the procurement process of all new requests for good and services for JRF.* Manage a database of current and potential vendors in local and international markets.* Source and recommend new vendors.* Act as a focal point with vendors regarding orders, new products, market conditions, and trends.* Prepare Requests for Proposals and procurement contracts, POs and processing tenders. Collects quotations, proposals and bids.* Analyse and prepare technical reports on suppliers? quotations and offers.* Negotiate prices with suppliers and service providers when appropriate, in line with JRF and Donor policies.* Coordinate the delivery and ensure receipt of goods and services.* Support programmes / social enterprises in the development of procurement plans and assisting in their review on a regular basis.* Update relevant colleagues about the status of their request and delivery, and maintain regular contact with supervisor on matters of procurement.* Ensure that procurement is carried out in accordance to JRF and donor-specific policies and procedures.
