Job Description

You will be responsible for applying paint and finishing coatings to a variety of surfaces, including vehicles, equipment, or industrial components. Your expertise in paint application, color matching, and finishing techniques will be essential in achieving high-quality results and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:

  • Paint Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming to ensure proper adhesion and a flawless finish.
  • Color Matching: Mix paint colors to match existing finishes or customer specifications, ensuring precise color accuracy.
  • Paint Application: Apply paint and finishing coats using various methods, including spray guns, brushes, or rollers, while maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Quality Control: Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections, ensuring even coverage and smooth finishes. Make any necessary touch-ups or corrections.
  • Surface Repair: Perform minor surface repairs and fill imperfections as needed to ensure a smooth and uniform substrate.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools regularly to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of paint and chemicals.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of paint mixing formulas, materials used, and work performed for billing and warranty purposes.
